I was born in Southfield, and raised in Canton, MI alongside three older siblings. Growing up, my interest in Interior Design sparked from watching hours of HGTV and home makeovers, admiring different hotels across the US while visiting my father who would work out of state, and learning from my older sister Natalie who has been an expert in the industry for 15+ years. I landed my first job in the industry as a Design Librarian for Interior Environments at age 16. After graduating High School during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I began my studies at Wayne State University to pursue nursing (decided that wasn’t the right path for me after one semester). From there I began my studies at The College for Creative Studies to pursue my true passions of Interior Design with a minor in Fashion Design where I am set to graduate in May of 2025. During my Sophomore year, I began working at Serba Interiors as a Design Assistant where I gained valuable knowledge of the high-end residential design industry. Working alongside the founder Kevin Serba, I designed a variety of custom furniture, met with clients, and assisted in ff+e selections.
After finishing up my Junior year, I headed to NYC for a Summer Internship with Tapestry Inc. in their Global Environments department, working with their Visual Production team. In this role, I helped manage the opening of 40+ Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman Retail, Outlet, and Wholesale stores worldwide. This involved daily communication with the brand's Visual Merchandising, Construction, Architecture, and Design teams, as well as working with International and Domestic Vendors/Suppliers to provide the brands with competitive pricing and procurement analysis.
I'm a textbook definition social butterfly, from growing up in a large and constantly growing family, I found the importance of good communication and meaningful relationships. In my free time, I love to travel, do just about anything with friends, catch up on the latest fashion trends and designs, and try new restaurants with my family. I am most grateful for my 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
